Project Description

For this project, Lakeside worked closely with the homeowner to design and build a shoreline that would complement the natural landscape and create a space for swimming, boating and watersports. Lakeside fabricated and installed a 40 foot pile dock along the shore and a second pier dock in the water, effectively creating a slip that will make docking two boats a simple process. Portions of the docking are closer to the water to provide easy access for wakeboarding, waterskiing, fishing and swimming. All of the substructure is fabricated from new, heavy-gauge steel to withstand ice movement on the lake and piles have been driven into the lakebed to support the docking and prevent shifting of the dock structures. Cedar decking was laid atop the steel substructure to complete the project.
