It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ritchie Scott and his outstanding crew from Lakeside Marine Contracting.
My two sons and I met Ritchie and his son Matthew at our cottage on Grippen Lake during the spring of 2015. Our shoreline cement retaining wall had suffered severe winter damage over the past few years and needed restoration. Ritchie and Matthew explained the reconstruction process in great detail and also explained how the administration process would work prior to a shovel hitting the ground. They dealt with the environmental agencies and other administrative details that we would have struggled with. Their efforts were seamless.
Our one request was that the project could not start until late summer and like clockwork the project was started just after Labour Day. The project was completed on time and on budget. The end result exceeded our expectations. Not only had the Lakeside team restored our waterfront they had restored our lawn and surroundings to it’s original state. The end result was amazing!
I was in the marine industry for many years and dealt with many marine contractors. I can say quite sincerely that I have never dealt with a marine contracting company with more integrity than Lakeside Marine. They are great to work with and more importantly, they have a crew who take great pride in their craft. They are one of a kind!
